What our proofreading includes
- Grammar - Making sure the text is grammatically correct.
- Spelling - Making sure the spelling is perfect. This can be in either UK or US English, depending on the client’s requirements.
- Punctuation - Making sure all punctuation is used appropriately and correctly.
- Referencing and Citations - Making sure all references and citations are included, cross-referenced accurately, and comply with the relevant guidelines.

What our copyediting includes
In addition to the things provided in our proofreading service, our copyediting service includes:
- Tone - Making sure that the tone of the document is consistent and appropriate to the target audience.
- Clarity - Making sure that the text is easy to read and its meaning is clear to the target audience without any ambiguity.
- Style - Making sure that the document follows a consistent style. This includes consistent font sizes and numbering of headings and sub-headings.
- Structure - Making sure that the document is structured appropriately. This includes amending lengthy sentences or paragraphs, ensuring line spacing is consistent throughout the document, and page numbers are in order and correspond to the correct page numbers in the table of contents.
- Paraphrasing - Re-writing text in accurate and plagiarism-free English.

What our formatting includes
We understand that you may not have enough time to format the document in accordance with the relevant requirements. Not to worry, as we are well equipped with the skills in making sure your document is in line with the requirements!
- Cover Page - We will create a cover page that includes all of the relevant things that are required. For example, a thesis should include a working title, module name, name or ID of author, logo, and word count.
- Table of Contents – We will create a table of contents page that lists each of the sections of the document.
- List of Acronyms - We will create a list of acronyms for words or phrases that have been shortened to an acronym.
- Figures, Tables & Graphs - We will make sure that figures, tables, and graphs include headings, sub-headings, numbers, and citations.
- List of Figures/Tables/Graphs - We will create a list of figures, tables, graphs, or a combination of any of the three.
- Layout - We will make sure the margins, headers, footers, columns, breaks, spacing, orientation, and page numbering are consistent and comply with the relevant requirements.
- Appendices - We will create a list of appendices and amend existing appendices to correspond to the relevant text in your work.
- Additional Formatting - If there is other specific material that may need formatting, such as statements of declaration and statements of dedication, we can make sure that these are also formatted appropriately.

What our translating includes
- Translation - Translation of text from Albanian to English, or English to Albanian, to keep the same intended meaning to the relevant target audience. This includes the content, layout, and brand vocabulary being kept the same.
- Localisation - Translate and adapt the content to accommodate for the linguistic, cultural, political, and legal requirements of a specific target market. This also includes localising the English language to other English speaking countries (e.g., localising content from the UK to the US).
- Transcreation - Translate and adapt the intent, emotion, tone, style, idioms, nuances, cultural references, date formats, measurement units, text length, and so on from Albanian to English, or English to Albanian, to meet the language, cultural, and other requirements of a specific English or Albanian speaking market. This also includes localising the English language to other English speaking countries (e.g., transcreating content from the UK to the US).
Please note that our translating services are available for the English and Albanian language. With other languages, our clients tend to translate their document from their respective language to English, and then give us the document in English so that we can make the English in their document perfect, free from any English errors. We are currently expanding our team so that we can translate other languages as well.

Our Editing Process
We proofread and copyedit documents in Microsoft Word using the ‘Track Changes’ feature. This allows you to view all of the suggested corrections made along with our comments, accept or reject any of these corrections, and make a comparison between the original and edited copy of your document.
We will send you three versions of your document via email. The documents will be:
1. Original Version – This version will be the original document that was sent to us.
2. Edited Version – This version will contain all of our proposed changes with comments on the right-hand side of the document, along with general comments at the end of the document.
3. Final Version – This version will accept all of our changes.
We can also edit your document without the ‘Track Changes’ feature and assume that you will accept our suggested changes made if you prefer your document to be edited this way.
With our formatting and translating service, we will format and translate the document without using ‘Track Changes’ and then explain to you what we have done and why.
