Client’s Requirements: Golden Healthcare and Recruitment, a start-up healthcare recruitment firm, required us to proofread, copyedit, and format their articles and presentations for their employees and to put on their website. They needed their work to be completed within seven days.

How We Helped: We first scanned through their presentations to spot any English errors, of which we found there to be a few present. We rectified these mistakes and then noticed that there were sentences which were not best suited for a presentation, so we edited those by removing jargon and redundant words and making the sentences clearer and easier to understand. We then formatted the presentations by including headers, titles of graphs and charts, numbering each slide, introducing a table of contents page, the colours, font, style, and size were consistent throughout the presentation, bullet pointed and numbered sentences accordingly, and included references and citations where necessary. Although not required, we gave them tips on how to make sure presentations are clear, professional, and appropriate to the relevant audience by making them a checklist for their future presentations.

Their articles were already of a high standard, but needed some minor tweaks to make it perfect. Similar to the work conducted on the presentations, we corrected all the spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes that were present, and then copyedited certain sentences to make them more appropriate to the audience. We made sure that the pages in the article were numbered, paragraphs had headings, titles were eye-catching and appealing, and the text font, style, and size was appropriate to grab the attention of the readers. Again, we provided them with a checklist on how to make sure their future articles appeal to the relevant audience.

End Result: The work was completed within five days. According to them, we have helped to reduce their stress levels, improve the flow of the business, and considerably reduced the time taken to develop their website, which will be launching soon. They have confirmed that they will continue to use our services.
