Proofreading Contracts and Formatting Financial Reports
Company Name: Appliance Giants
Industry: Retail Trade
Website: https://www.appliancegiants.co.uk/
Client’s Requirements: Appliance Giants needed their contracts to be proofread before they were sent to their suppliers. Before sending any of their financial reports to their accountant and storing any of their reports on their system, they needed the reports to also be formatted in a clear way to make it easy to understand for all parties. They needed the contracts to be proofread within 18 days and their reports to be formatted within five days.
How We Helped: We first checked their contracts for any spelling, punctuation and grammar errors, of which we then corrected. We then made sure that the text in the contracts was clear and easy to understand and had mentioned all of the information that Appliance Giants needed. Although not requested, we suggested to introduce more paragraphs and include subheadings with the appropriate numbering within the text to add more structure to the contract and make it easier to read, free of charge.
With regards to the financial reports, we first asked whether they were certain that all of the necessary information was added. Once receiving the confirmation that all of the information was included, we added the appropriate rows and columns to tables of data, bold and italic words and numbers where necessary, lines within tables and charts, consistent line spacing, any important notes that need to be mentioned within the tables, colours to titles, and labelling, including the title and axes.
End Result: Both the contracts and financial reports were returned to Appliance Giants within the agreed time period. Appliance Giants had sent their contracts to their suppliers and their financial reports to the accountant on time. The accountant praised Appliance Giants for their neatly presented reports, which Appliance Giants credits us for.
